Improves Fertilizer Efficiency

The lawn absorbs nutrients effectively when the pH is between 6 and 7.

Increases the Activity of Soil Microorganisms

Living in neutral pH soil, microorganisms multiply and essentially “digest” nutrients, making them easier for the lawn to absorb.

With better nutrient uptake, the lawn becomes greener and denser. The magnesium in dolomitic lime also plays a key role in turf growth.

Reduces the Presence of Moss and Weeds

Liming should be carried out in the spring (April/May) to prepare the soil for the growing season, and in the fall (September/October) to allow the lime to work throughout the winter.
